Hamilton Cab 777!!!!
Hi Alll

Ive been in Hamilton for 5 years and today i get in a cab and the driver asks me for a flat rate without even turning the meter on..fortunately i was the sober one out of my friends and insisted on the meter rate..i wonder how many students are being treated this way..i call hamilton cab 777 and they insist on a cab number to take any action..i feel this is something thats "hand in glove" with everyone running this ....hope we as students don't get scammed ..

I remember a few days ago I read a poster inside the 777 cab, warning the drivers to not take longer routes and scam students. Apparently there have been complaints.

When waiting for drunk people, they typically want a decent fare, since some people only go about 10 blocks, and if its a popular club, they've been waiting in the cab line for like a half an hour, so they want to guarantee some sort of fare.. They also have dashers to deal with...
I've always had a decent outcome with 777..77..77? but one time a guy didn't give me change when I asked for it, or a receipt as well

If you can, don't use Hamilton Cab 777! I had a bad experience similar to Ryan once and many of my friends was scam by the drivers. Their business model is to milk as much from the students attending the school here in Hamilton. Might even be gang affiliated.
