Hamilton Cab Fares
I have to take a cab to a bus stop by the Metro in Dundas (not University Plaza, the other Metro) every Thursday & Friday morning around 5:30AM because the bus doesn't run up my way early enough for me to get to clinical, so I cab it to another bus stop, which is about only 4km away. From Govener's & Castlewood (Highland School), to the Dundas Metro by St. Joseph's Villa.
It costs me $7.80, that seems a bit much?
Back home in T.O that short of a ride wouldn't cost me that much in a cab.
Are all Hamilton cabs this expensive? Gosh for that much I can take the train to Union Station, lol.

Yeah...they're pretty pricey. Costs much less for Patrick Cane and his cousin if they can manage to flag one down.

It costs between $30-$40 to get to the Hamilton airport from the Westdale area, which is only a 15 minute drive, if that's any indication of prices.
I remember in first year (so I assume prices went up), from res to Hess was nearly $10...

Wow, sucks lol. Wish there was another way for me to get to that bus stop. The bus stop where I live doesn't run until 6:40, while the one 3-4km away runs at 5:58 (when I need it) which is why I need the cab :(

Lol everytime I heard someone say bowmanville I think that they're talking about the street "Bowman" and that people living on the street are calling Bowmanvillians.

I know! A 15 minute cab ride there is above $50. I was so shocked when I got to Hamilton and I could take a 10 minute ride for $15 dollars.

Same. I think the first time I took a cab in Hamilton, it was from university plaza to Hedden Hall... I think it cost me like 6 bucks. I was impressed.

In Flamborough (north/boonies Hamilton) a cab ride that was less than 1.5 km cost about $7, and that was in town, not out to the actual countryside.
