HELP!! i need to make a decision on my elective
hi guys,
i'm a first year life science student and i'm taking econ 1bb3 as my elective and as a mark booster. although i heard that this course is easy, we only have 2 tests and 1 exams (no more assignments!!), each worth 50% of my total mark. so i'm afraid without assignments, it is not easy to get a 12

since i have not taken econ 1b03 and there is no assignments to boost the mark, do you guys recommend taking other electives instead of this one? how were tests and exam difficulty for this course and course load compare to other first year courses?

the tests were ridiculous, the averages for chem midterms were way higher than the econ midterm averages for last semester. i dont know if that was because chem became easier or if they made econ harder though

i just dropped it like 2 minutes ago... so hurry up


ppl usually brand this course as a 'bird'.. but i didnt like the 1b03(although it was easy) so i eventually decided to drop this one

i would recommend that you take 1b03 first, and it is open right now

The prof made the exam harder than previous years in 1bb3 because some dumbasses were cheating. I don't know if the exam was hard didn't take the course.

i'm having the same issue as you
i dont like the fact that they changed the whole course in a term
they should have waited till next year to implement this new grading
it's really unfair for people taking it in 2nd term

is there any other electives to take that is somewhat easy?
now i feel like econ is gonna screw me over

Just because they got rid of APLIA and some other random assignments, doesn't mean the course is now hard. The material is still the same.

Judging by the fact he refers to himself as We he has multiple personality disorder, also i think he's saying something about the meaning of life science, either he is being really mean or giving a compliment.
