He's Back...
The "deaf" guy that hands out sign language cards approached me in Mills LC on Monday. I knew who he was, so I looked a him for a second and ignored him (I was packing up).

I'm going to assume it's some guy who is deaf, who hands people "cards" and expects money in return?

Yeah, its that guy.
New, gullible users: He's older, and missing a few teeth. He hands you a card that explains he is deaf and needs money. The card has sign language letter on it. I think its a scam.

I'd go right to library staff and let them know so they can call security... or do it yourself!!

I saw him in Thode a week or two ago.
When he took the card back and started walking away, I was like "Wait!" and hoped for an impulsive turnaround, but I was disappointed. Also kind of felt like an *******.
He's probably trained himself not to do that, but I fully encourage others to try it and catch him using similar methods. If you're feeling really ballsy, sneak around behind him and start speaking loudly about how he's scamming people.

Warning: This post has been reportedThis post has been flagged as violating the MacInsiders Code Of Conduct, and is being reviewed by one of our staff. It may contain offensive material. Click here to view.
I suggest evidence be stated on why you feel this gentleman is not who he say he is (with proper verifiable sources be provided). This is definitely slander and you could be sued for libel.
Honestly, have you no shame? Trying to defame a gentle old man. Do you not realize that once you are deaf, you are completely disable and are unable to be productive in our society?
