How come I see so many ppl with master degrees in education or law end up working as supervisors for at like McDonald's or Wendy's or the movie theater?

You can't just generalize like that... I have never heard of a law graduate working at McDonald.

Also, you can do a lot with a masters degree...you can further your studies, get a Ph.D. and work in a university/college as a researcher or an instructor...or both.
You can also work in a college as an instructor with just a masters degree.

Right now, there are just a lot of people getting post-secondary educations (source: university admissions have never been higher). With more people graduating with degrees before, lots are finding subpar jobs.
BUT many of those people working those jobs simply went to university to get a degree simply because they can/should. Everybody is getting a degree now, and if you don't then you're gonna get left behind.
But if you're smart, getting a university degree(s) will be a benefit and you will move up in the world. If you only went to university because everybody else is, then you'll just go back to working at McDonald's after you graduate.
That being said, McDonald's has a huge room for growth. A smart person working at McDonald's could probably be promoted to something like a regional manager pretty fast.

Or assistant to the regional manager.
