I'm interested. I've been looking for arenas that are easily accessible by bus from mac. There are a couple rinks in Dundas, but the HSR website says that it's a mission to get to them. How far away is the 4 pad? Anyone know of a close, accessible rink to mac?

Im going to post this here because if you search hockey this is the most relevant discussion that comes up.

There is a tonne of shinny to be had in Hamilton, most of it for 5 bucks. The quad pads on the mountain offer shinny usually 3 times a day at 9am 1ish and 11pmish however the quad pads are pretty much as far as you can get from mac in Hamilton.

There is the Chedoke Twin Pads Shinny twice a day usually 930am and 1230pm its 575 and there is ok attendance if you dont really want to play a game but just work out this is the spot.

There is Coronation which is pretyy close to mac I have never been there mostly because I figure it would be packed with puck hog kids fresh off of being cut from their OHL teams.

Here the links

Quad Padshttp://www.mohawk4icecentre. ca/shinny.cfm

Chedoke http://www.myhamilton.ca/myhamilton/...blicSkate.html

Coronation the closest to Mac http://www.myhamilton.ca/myhamilton/...blicSkate.html

Hope to see some guys out there

reeves says thanks to creen for this post.
