For honours biochemistry it says that it is recommended to have Math 1b03. My schedule is already pretty heavy so I am wondering if it would it be a good idea to take it after first year like in the summer or during second?

Hey I am in Biochemistry and Math 1B03 is definitely NOT needed. A lot of my collegues in the program have not taken it, and the course content (matrices, etc) do not show up in any of the biochem courses I have taken so far.

However, I did end up taking it in 3rd year because I like math. But if you're not much of a math person then I wouldn't worry about it at all...
