HORIZONS '09 Schedule and Instructions

The Horizons Conference for first year students is in 2 days! The organizer for this year, Chanique, has provided some instructions for drop-off and the schedule for the conference!

Throughout the conference, we will be staying at Hedden Hall, however, I don't know the exact set up, type of room or what floor we will be on. We find that information when you arrive. The following is a list of what to bring along.

What to bring:
-Health card
-Pyjamas
-Socks & underwear
-Toiletteries (tooth brush/paste, shampoo, soap)
-Towel
-Comfortable indoor (e,g, flipflops) & outdoor shoes (e.g. running shoes)
-Sun block & insect repellant
-Bed linens provided, but you may want an extra bed sheet for the Toga party!
-Nut-free snacks are allowed!

Remember to pack light!

Note:
1-According the confirmation email, all of the activities will be indoors, however, we will be travelling from one place to another through the outdoors.
2- The conference shirt must be worn at all times, thus, you won't need shirts for the duration of the conference, excluding PJ's !

As for arrival, you must be dropped off through the main entrance of the university, and head to the North quad towards Hedden Hall. Everyone will be dropped off at the entrance of the building. There will be people in red T-shirts guiding everyone in!

Parking passes:
If you drive, and you need a parking pass for the 3 days of the conference, you need to contact Chanique as soon as possible, in order to be able to get a no-charge pass under your name!
