I liked those buses, people could actually get on the bus on campus that way.
... then again, this could be remedied by people moving all the way to the back so that there's space in the front. :|

Aww..yeah I hope they get fixed soon. It's always cool to sit/stand on the accordion itself
However, those buses don't go through campus anymore since they used to serve only Route 10 Beeline Express, which now only goes around campus. All other buses going through campus are the normal, non-accordion ones.

They were on the 51 sometimes.
It's good for night classes in the winter when it's -30˚C plus windchill and the buses are 30-50 minutes apart.

Really? I've never seen it serve 51...
But yes, oh night classes/night tests. It sucks so much because you can only ever get on in front of the Health Sci Library, and that's only if you happen to be close enough to the bus doors.

It's never during peak times. I've only taken it twice. Once during night class, everyone was so pleased! And once at around 2 PM.
Definitely. You're going Eastbound towards downtown, never take the one in front of Mills. Walk a few stops before that to guarantee yourself a spot. If you're going Westbound to Ancaster, never use the stop in front of HSL.
When it's not freakishly cold, I prefer biking or walking as it's faster than waiting for the bus.

wait so I don't get it it, IF you are going down to Ancaster if you go down a few stops to HSL won't the bus be full with people who all got onboard at Mills/Divinity?

I take an accordian bus to campus every day during the school year and summer. They are so much better. They fit way more people and are nicer in general.
At first I was upset about the beeline moving off campus because it's a longer walk, but god - it is SO much better now. I need to go all the way down, as far East as you could go (one stop before the beeline ends and you have to take a cab the rest of the way) and they used to fill up on campus with people getting off in Westdale.
Now, the only people taking the beeline are the people who actually need to go somewhere far, quickly. Apparently other busses will be moved off campus as well though, so the same problem will happen again .. just on Main Street instead of on campus.

I only got a taste of the B-line accordian buses on campus, when I was only a prospective student and came down for whatever reason. It was SO much better ahh.
But are they still thinking of phasing out all buses on campus? That's what I heard...
