what do you mean specifically? transferring within the hsr system or from hsr to a go bus?
you have a window of 2 hrs to transfer onto any busses you want.

You just show the transfer to the bus driver when boarding the bus within the span of two hours. This is only between HSR buses and Burlington Transit buses

actually apparently you can transfer from an hsr bus to a go bus as well (and vice versa) if you're using a presto card and you get a discount on your HSR fare.

?? That's how it is on a lot of transit systems? you get a window of time in which you can transfer for free to other busses.

TTC is weird though. Mississauga, HSR, Brampton , even Waterloo all have the 2 hour rule.

TTC is experimenting with the 2 hours transfer rule. Currently though, the majority of its routes is set for one way destination transfer.
