EDIT: I think B stands for blue, G for Gold, and P would be for Peach... Read it on a facebook group.

(The only downside in Whidden is the guys bathrooms... oh lord)

Whidden is awesome!
I was in Whidden last year, it was amazing.
I hated the idea of a triple and was overwhelmed on my first day!
I even thought of just going off campus before the year started!
BUT
by the end of the year, everyone in Whidden became the tightest community on Mac, we would roll 40 deep or more hahah!
Don't worry about it, I remember how I thought I had bad luck
Also I happen to know one of the CA's for next year and he/she is awesome!

I dont think anyone should get stressed out about rez rooms

Living on rez is and should be a new experience for everyone

we might be a little out of our comfort zone but i think its something all of us will have to tackle head on. its part of life

as for room type

i would hate being in a single
living on rez should be like living in a big family. i hate the thought of excluding myself from others
but that might just be me :S

im excited and so should all of you atleast give it a try
its gonna be an amazing year and i already know it

Haha I like your spirit , definitely keep that for welcome week, your gonna need it! Hmm, so much to tell ... Alright I`ll start with the room info.

Your in a triple, one bunk and one loft. The rooms will seem small at the start, though its more then enough space for the three of you, you`ll get use to it (my roommates and myself are all over 6 ft.). We didnt find any secret cabinets, sorry to say .

As for getting on MacInsiders this early in the game, good for you . This site will help you out a lot and though your roommates aren`t on yet, I`m sure they will be soon enough. Get to know your roommates through the res portal email as early as you can, your going to be spending a lot of this year together so its always good to start off strong.

ALSO, go to Horizons: https://www.msumcmaster.ca/servicesa...o/overview.htm . This is an MSU (McMaster Student Union) run leadership conference, that occurs in Mid August. You will meet a ton of 1st years at mac, get to sleep over in a residence (Hedden Hall I believe -- roommates and the whole deal), get to know the campus much better and have overall greater confidence when it comes to Welcome Week and starting out at Mac. I was a delegate last year, and will be on the staff this year ... I strongly suggest it for any first year that wants to get more familiar with McMaster and have an amazing intro into McMaster life. `

Another Whidden student here...Room 210, floor 2G. Bit bummed since I applied for all-female residences...my parents aren't too keen on letting me go now, either. They're considering off-campus residences...so.

What's it like?
