Important Psychology Question
I want to major in psych, but i haven't done any 3U or 4U science or math courses. I dont do well in those, so I want to take the social science route to psychology.

I know that I need 1 bio and 1 math course in my first year
1) would these be very difficult for me?
2) after first year, how many more science/math courses do I NEED to take? Again, would they be hard for somebody who hates sciences and maths?
3) "Students with Grade 11 Math must first take MATH 1K03.
Students who obtain at least a B- in MATH 1K03, may then take MATH 1M03.
Students who obtain less than B
in MATH 1K03,
must take MATH 1F03 prior to taking one of MATH 1M03, 1A03, or 1LS3."

Could somebody PLEASE explain this to me?
I took Grade 11 College math, so this means I must take MATH 1K03, then 1M03 if I have atleast a B-?
If I have less then a B-, I have to take yet ANOTHER math course (MATH 1F03) and THEN take one of MATH 1M03, 1A03, or 1LS3?
Why is it so complicated?

anyway thank you so much to whoever replies! I would appreciated it, im so confused :$

I can't really speak for most of your questions, but as for the difficulty:

I consider myself math-retarded. Some people on here can vouch for my mathematical stupidity. I can do basics, like add, subtract, multiply, and divide. I just learned what BEDMAS is last August. Anything algebraic (letters and formulas and shit) is foreign to me. I got a 50 in grade 11 math, my second time taking it, 12 years ago. I went to a 1K03 class in the middle of the term, and was able to follow along with the lecture and examples, until he lost me with about 10 minutes left. If I can follow it with my history, you should be able to as well, since you seem to be a little stronger in math than me, and even if not, you haven't had a decade to forget everything you learned previously.

There is also the program called social psychology that you may be interested in if you are wanting the social science path:

http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /calen...nt/pg1945.html

The course list is pretty straight forward and I don't see any math or science requirements (though grade 12 bio or bio 1p03 is required for psych 1xx3 but you don't have to take that course).
