Well, if 7.1 was the lowest acceptance last year (I'm not entirely sure it was, it might have been higher) then clearly all the students in that program have attained that mark or higher...

Yeah, I thought it was 7.8 or something...or maybe that was for honours bio, but then I'd think molecular bio/genetics would be higher.

And of course it's attainable! Otherwise how would people get into the program in the first place?

Another thing about shadowing, however, is that some courses are restricted to people in certain programs, so you won't always be able to take ALL of the courses necessary...in that case, you would reapply to get into the program for the following year, and take the course(s) then. While you are shadowing, you would be officially registered in honours life sci or honours bio, or general life sci if your marks weren't high enough for honours.

7.0 is possible, but you need to work hard. The average for most science courses in about 65-70, so you need to be a little ahead of the pack.

so are you saying if she doesn't have a gpa of 7.9 she won't get in? :S

lol basically honours bio was like insaely popular last year i think more popular than genetics thas why the avg was crazy high

Anyone know what Physiology's cut off was? i kinda got in through the back door, so I don't know.
