Indigenous Studies 2C03
I took this course Term II of 2009-2010 with Rick Monture. This class is technically a topic course, so it may change slightly if offered again.
The course breakdown was:
Participation 10%
Open-Book Midterm:
Response Paper OR Presentation: 15%
Term Essay:
Take-Home Final Exam
There were three textbooks: one focused on the legislation and movements within the US, one interspersed with theory (mostly CSCT theory) and personal stories, and the last text was a jumble of personal stories, anecdotes, poetry etc.
I really enjoyed the course, as the material was varied, we had interesting discussions, and Rick is amazing.
