Took the class with Rick Monture in Term II of 2009-2010. The topic of the course was "Indigenous Intellectual Traditions: From Community to University".

Evaluation:
Response paper - 15%
Presentation - 20%
Term Paper - 30%
Exam (take home) - 25%
Participation - 10%

The class was pretty small (about 15 people) so there was a lot of discussion about the material. The lectures were split between fifteen minuteish student presentations and the rest with the prof.

Took this class when the topic involved looking at artistic expressions and indigenous societies. Found the content really interesting. There were also two field trips involved to see an art expression and two theater productions.
