Indigenous Studies 3K03
Took the course with Hayden King in Term II of 2009-2010.
Course layout:
Participation - 10%
Essay consultation - 5%
UNDRIP report - 15%
Seminar Paper - 25%
Seminar Lead - 15%
Exam (Take-home) - 25%
There was a courseware and one textbook for this class.
My class happened to be really small (seven students) so there was a lot of ability for students to talk and discuss things, especially in our seminars. The seminars were actually my favourite part, since we got to explore topics outside of the prof's interests.
I found there was a lot of overlap in this course, 2B03 and 2D03 as well as some from 1A03/1AA3/3J03.
