Ineligible to use Registration on Solar
I just finished my first year in Computer Science and am now registering for level 2. I finally got unto solar and clicked on Undergrad Registration/Course Selection for the Sep 2011 Session, and it give's me this message

Ineligible to use registration/course selection

You have not been set up with any programme to register in. Please contact your Faculty or Programme Office if you think you should be able to register for this session.

Have I forgotten to do something?

Did you fail any courses?

Did you miss the second year selection process (picking where you want to go in second year?) I am aware Comp Sci students took Engineering Mathematics, so I figured they were in first year Engineering and then transfer out to Comp Sci in second year.

*edit*

Never mind, I checked http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /calen...nt/pg1197.html and you don't transfer out to Comp Sci from Level 1 Engineering. Did you complete all the units, especially 15 units in elective?

If you said no to both, check your grade report to see why. Otherwise contact your adviser immediately (Sally I presume?)

Computer Science students still need to go through the selection process to choose between the Honours Comp Sci, Game Design and Business Informatics streams.

Game Design? I didn't see that as an option although straight honours CS was what I wanted anyway.

But yea I think that's the problem, I bet Curtis here didn't select a Level II program last year. It isn't the part of not having all 15 electives, because I dropped an elective last year and was allowed to continue. You only need 24 units to continue to Level II, at least for CS.

I suggest you to go see Sally immediately when she recovers. I believe she can help?

Better yet, try Franya Franek. I believe he's an advisor in Computer Science.

Good luck.

I'll contact Dr. Franek right now, he's helped me out in the past. Thank you everyone for your input.
