Hey

Before McMaster changed their e-mail from muss to G-Mail my e-mail set-up was fine. I was able to receive and send all my emails through my mail app on my macbook.
Ever since the school switched to gmail I have not been able to get it to work. I have tried using POP and IMAP but have had no luck.
If anyone has successfully done his would they please tell me how they did it

The outgoing mail server does not work for some reason

You have to make sure outgoing servers authenticate using password too

Really? It works great for me. Using the new McMaster Gmail with a client is much, much better and easier than with the previous system IMO. Integration with send and archive, stars and labels is so much smoother. I had followed what herbs posted above and it worked.
