The reason you might think so is because I haven't really come to Canada yet and I am writing this article sitting in India. The points that I have mentioned are based solely on my conversation with my cousins studying in US and Canada and ofcourse some of them are basic common sense stuff...so i'm sorry about the mix up with college and university...

You're not the only one. I've come home almost every weekend for the past two years and my mom still does my laundry for me. She showed me how and I helped a couple times.

Now that I'm commuting and living at home I'll probably start doing more of it myself.

I just thought it would be more inconvenient to do my laundry in residence. I don't dry my clothes in the dryer really and I wasn't going to carry wet clothes up to my room. Plus where would I hang them. It was just easier to cart it home and then bring it back.

You can invest in a good sturdy clothes rack. It doesn't take a lot of space (I could fit it in my room) and it folds up when you aren't using it. I didn't always use the dryer in residence either which saved me a lot of money.

I'm not staying in residence anymore anyway but that wouldn't have fit in my room first year anyway. It was a double and it would have had to go in the middle of the room which probably would be annoying for both of us.

Probably. You could probably keep something like this in your closet/under your bed.

Someone who's lived in Les Prince can probably give you a definite answer but from the double I saw in there it was quite roomy, much bigger than my Double in Hedden.

There is storage space to keep a full size Bicycle too though. There are bike racks you can lock it to or I believe you can rent space indoors to store your bike.

Yes there are places to store your bike indoors. I know Edwards has a bike room.

Yup, it does. It's located near the conference room doors and accessible with your swipe card
