Internet
So I just leased a house today, but I don't yet if I'm gonna be staying for 1 month or 4 months. Unfortunately, internet is not included in the lease. Anyone know any providers that don't force you to sign a contract and provide for 1 month?

The Wind mobile data stick is 29$/month but you're required to prepay 2 months in advance for the current deal. Depending on where you live after the 1/4 month(s), you could still use your paid internet in Wind Zones. If its Hamilton, you're good no matter where you move in Hamilton (a few exceptions).

i do not believe there is a cancellation fee with bell. They would be fine for a few months. Cogeco like contracts so I would stay away from them. Also I hear tekSavvy is great, but have no personal experience with them.

Cogeco doesn't require any commitments but simply requires 30 days notice for disconnection.

This Exactly. I had no problems ending my service. You can even suspend your services for vacation/ summer with no charge.
If you are just going to be around for the summer though why don't you see if you have housemates or neighbors that want to split a bill.
