If you have a Mac, you never needed cisco to begin with

You didn't necessarily need CISCO on a PC either. There were ways to get around it or so I've heard =D

Yes, 2 Gb/day. Exceeding it puts you in a slow queue but doesn't limit your access entirely.

Is that true for wireless access as well? I haven't noticed any problems with slowing down compared to the slowing down of residence speeds.

I'm not 100% sure about wireless, but I don't think the cap affects it since the download limit is based on your specific residence internet jack

Hmm. Actually when I was in first year (2yrs ago) we also had that 2GB limit in res, but for 2nd term it vanished... and no one had any issues going 10+GB per day over (not including DC++ afcourse)

But with wireless you still have to log-in to the system, so couldn't they technically still throttle your account?
