I just stuck to the dental office in the student centre, got all the xrays and checkups done last year, and this year I had 2 cleanings, 3 fillings and 2 wisdom teeth removed and paid only $70 at the end (which was covered by my own insurance). They're really professional and extremely nice! I've only had positive experiences with them.

If you have EVER had a cleaning before, the red flag should probably have gone up when they cleaned only two of your teeth.

A full cleaning only takes like a half hour. Realistically, I dont know why someone would only clean two of your teeth and tell you to come back for multiple appointments.

Go in, huff and puff and get yourself out of this mess any way you can. Make a big deal about this. Don't turn the other cheek and have us feel sorry for you. We appreciate the warning but don't let them win without a fight.

Some dentists will do stuff like this. I've had a bad experience before. But by the time my family realized we were being ripped off it was too late. Thats why I'm super paranoid when I go to my current dentists office, I always ask questions and check how much my insurance will cover before I even get in the chair to have something done. Go talk to them and see if anything can be done or first contact the dental association of ontario. The cleaning teeth in two visits sounds really strange.

What kind of dentist only cleans half your mouth? What the hell. I got xrays done, a cleaning, and I'm getting 2 of my wisdom teeth out with the Mac coverage (my dad's benefits covers the rest of the fees), but the xrays and cleaning was only like half of the Mac coverage.
this is true! I had the same great experience, they even send a cab to pick you up and drop you off. I got free cleaning done and got plastic moulds taken of my teeth to use with whitening gel. I only had an ache in one of my wisdom tooth but the dentist was a G, and said he could take out another of my wisdom tooth since it would need taking out later anyways and that it was covered by Mac so I may as well.. and I did lol. then he told me to come back for the remaining one next year. soo yeah, I'd recommend going to see the Ancaster Dental people.

Do you have a any documentation and such? You should take it to Mcmaster. If they are screwing you over they must be screwing other people.
