Who can i put as a reference if i have never had a job before?
I have never had a job before and most applications i have to put 3 references. I was thinking of putting one of my teachers and my guidance counselor..

Teachers are good, other people could be your neighbours as well.

Those are fine. Or professors who've talked to and volunteer supervisors perhaps.

Any adult who knows you well can work, but preferably one who knows you in a professional-ish environment. Any volunteer supervisors are good, but teachers/guidance counsellors work too Just make sure they know you well enough to talk about you, and maybe give them a copy of your resume so they have more info.

If you are religious you could always ask local religious leader/representative (i.e. local priest, etc)

I was in the same situation but working is not all about the money, its more about what you learn and experience. Does not have to be related to your degree, for example, I starting doing any time of labor jobs, got more experience, now doing volunteer internship for start up company and later hopefully co-op.
