10/10? wouldnt go that far... but it was better than most of the crap albums that get released nowadays

The production on his songs are better but Jay-Z has gotten rather stagnant lyrically. The stuff he was pulling out on reasonable doubt were on a completely different level, lyrically, than anything on American Gangster or the Blueprint 3 (though I still love the 3rd verse from "Thank You"). Jay-Z's entire body of work is better than Drake and Cole (and on par with Em), but his recent stuff isn't in the same league as theirs (though he does have better production values on his songs than any of them).

Purely on lyrics, find some of Drake's and find some of kanye's, if you're not taking the rest of the music into context (which usually makes kanye's stuff sound better) Drake is doing more interesting things lyrically.
Also are you trying to say College Dropout kanye, or Graduation kanye were on Jay's level?
