Kinesiology reference letter
Hello,

I'm a fourth year Kin student who wants to get into the physiotherapy program at Queens. I've read from countless forums that their admissions committee place great emphasis on academic letters. However, I'm not sure which Kin prof to ask. I don't have a personal connection with any of them.

If anyone was in a similar position, especially in Kin & got into a physio program, any insight on what you did would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Unless the professor knows you, I don't think they will provide you with a reference letter.

Would definitely be better to hear from previous Kin student applicants or fellow upper year Kins.

However, if I were to give my own opinion, even though you may not have a personal connection with the profs, perhaps approach a prof who has spoken to you many times, knows your name, and whom you've known an interest in class with?

Not sure what to say, academic references are really important. Just think of it this way also: applicant review committee can almost automatically tell the difference between a well-written, personalized letter to a shitty, generalized, letter that does not really show the capabilities, characteristics of the applicant.

Hope that helps? good luck!
