dont know how the fire happened, but just outside KTH near the DSB entrance in the arts quad... Black smoke, smelt like burnt rubber. Fire started are roughly 3:15.
UPDATE: The fire is not as bad as it seemed, can't tell if it was a cigarette that lit the foam under the patio stones, or something electrical. But there is definitely a few stones caved in.

Since this happened in the basement, I'm pretty sure they'll have to see if there was any structural damage.

I was in DSB at the time; building got evac'd. Hopefully damage wasn't too bad.

I saw the fire trucks heading that way after class today. Figured it was a typical 911 call where everything is dispatched as a worst case scenario, since I saw no smoke. Hopefully everyone and everything is ok

Uh oh, I was just there earlier! Hope the fire trucks got there in time so that the damage wasn't too much and that no one was hurt.

We all thought it was a fire drill.. I was even joking "hey guys I think I can smell smoke"... but then as we were leaving, I was like "hey I can actually smell smoke"... And then we got outside and there were flames trickling from the side of the building.

I remember there was a fire in KTH last year a few weeks after the Brandon fire...that wasn't fun. :\
