the definition from urbandictionary.com: http://www.urbandictionary.c om/def...m=nerdl inger

and from the simpsons: http://www.snpp.com/episodes/1F02.html

Homer walks in and preempts Bart's program for a show about college that
he really should watch. The show is called "School of Hard Knockers",
and it stars Corey Masterson.

Prez: [on TV] Dean Bitterman, I hope nothing unsavory happens during my
visit. As you know, I _am_ the President of the United States.
Dean: Oh, don't worry. I've expelled those rowdy members of Chugalug
house.
Homer: [watching] Ohh, I hate that lousy Dean!
Corey: [on TV] Your Bra Bomb better work, Nerdlinger!
Nerd: Hey!
[Corey presses the plunger; an explosion occurs in the
background
]
[Many colors of bras rain down on the Dean and the President]
Dean: Corey?! Don't worry, Mr. President, I --
[looks over, sees the President dancing and enjoying himself]
Mr. President!
Prez: Lighten up, Bitterman...that youngster will make a perfect
addition to my cabinet. Secretary of Partying Down!
Dean: [growls; a bra falls on his head]
Homer: [triumphant] Yes! Take _that_, Bitterman.
-- College is _just_ like that, "Homer Goes to College"

I'm in need of researching now.

It's weird not writing essays all the time.

I'm going crazy. Not really. But sort of. Apparently I need to write another article...

And Beat The Geeks...three geeks?

You know the coloured ones are just a way for them to compete with Mac, right? A marketing ploy? (I'm in cultural studies...I learn about this crap...go me...). And probably have nothing to do with the interior computer-y prossessing stuff...

And Amara* I think it depends on exactly how your compooper breaks down as to how it can be fixed (and where). My Dell desktop crashed twice in six months, and I had someone come to me to service it, as it was under warranty. Perhaps that has something to do with it as well?

Yup chaz is right, but
I'd still reccomend a HP over a dell, I'm just not convinced, when people say Dell is better.

how can you compete with that amazing finish on the exterior of the pavillions

and they now have webcam + microfone + finger print scanner
so i mean you dont need to attach anything!

*sigh* I love HP's

<Start
subliminal messages>
*buy hp* *buy hp* *they are the best* *they are the best*
<End>

cheers

well it entirely depends on what you need the laptop for:
but ill go over the general stuff

1. Get a Dual core 2 processor, just to make ure laptop future proof
2. around 1gb of ram (memory) - if you plan to use windows vista then 2gb ram
3. hardrive ..hmm anything over 80gb should be ok.
4. get atleast a dvd burner or a light scribe one if you have the cash to blow
5. dont worry about the graphics card if your not a gamer

that should help you out a bit.
and oh check this site out...
