Hey chad,

i got my refurb online! there is a section on the apple webpage where you can look at refurbished ipods, computers etc! And their delivery is usually pretty speedy! I ordered my older ipod online and got it in under 5 days, and my macbook was no more than a week!

Link

So check that out and look for some good deals! You have to be quick about it, because most of them sell out before lunchtime! i just checked it for a few days before work, and one day i found the one for me!

I need to get a laptop and was wondering if the PC laptops they sell at Titles are any good? I got their back to school flyer and was thinking of getting the more expepnsive Fujitsu model. Does anyone know if this one is very good?

Do you have the specs for it? Post them here, as well as the price.

http://titlesmicro.mcmaster. ca/hardware/notebooks/

Is it the $2128 one?

They have some nice laptops at Staples right now. My neighbour bought a Toshiba from them this week and got a superb deal.

Here are two that I'd look at:

Sony Vaio (I have a VAIO and absolutely love it. Thinnest laptop ever, light weight, beautiful design. Just go and look at it. Clearance right now):

Toshiba Satellite A200-AH6 (has 1GB of ram, but Staples also sells the model up which has 2GB. Nice machine).

Both have Intel Core Duo. The Toshiba is faster (2.0GHz).

haha, thats what you get when buying a mac. The same specs can be bought cheaper on a PC notebook. However, keep in mind the bundled software you get that comes with the Mac.

Ok so I just bought myself a new laptop for university and whatnot. These are the specs:
- Toshiba
- Intel core duo T2450
- 2GB Ram
- 160 GB harddrive
- Mobile Intel 945GM 256M graphics card
- 2Mb cache (have no idea what that is)
- Vista premium

Does this look good to you? Think it'll last the whole 4 years?
