You can buy a photocopy/print card, but it's 0.10/copy/page.

I think thats REALLY expensive, especially if you're churning out essays often.

For printers, learn the art of using other people on your floor's printer. Or learn the art of joining a club with printer/photocopier and making good enough friends with the members that they will let you print your stuff on the account.

ehehe.

Yeah that's a good idea, either that or get your own printer for your residence, because face it: you're going to need to get one of your own if not this year then in the upcoming years. And printers are so cheap nowadays, around 50$.

yes, printers are cheap, very true Lucc.

There are printers in the library and in the public student computing centres (aka. computer labs) on campus. You need to pay to use them, and its like 30 cents a sheet I think. Either way, its more money than just buying your own cheapy printer and putting it in your rez. And much more convenient to only have to reach beside your computer vs. walking to the library you make the choice hehe

If you buy a laptop from futureshop then you can get a printer for as low as $20. And it's an all in one kind of printer meaning you can also scan and copy with it.

scanners are amazing inventions.
if you can, get a printer with a scanner, as you can photocopy people's notes too.

my sister just bought a laptop from future shop and i got a printer out f it for 20 bucks. it's an hp all in one, so im guessing its pretty reliable.

by the way i just got my macbook pro a week ago and its awesome. definately takes some getting used to but i like it much better than my pc now. and does anyone know if some lecture halls at mac have outlets near the seats? i've heard some universities have this...

Future shop and Best Buy are owned by the same person so they should have pretty similar deals/prices

I heard the same, but i just bought an hp laptop w/ vista and it runs fine. I was originally planning to reformat it with XP, but its not neccessary.
