Hey Mac, when I was living in Toronto I was part of a hard blues rock band, and an indie-ish rock , playing drums in both, and knowing how awesome Hamilton's music scene is, I really want to be a part of it. I've been playing drums for about two and a half years with musical influences from Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alexisonfire (sort of, I don't do double kick), Arctic Monkeys, Them Crooked Vultures and Foo Fighters, to name a few bands.

I'm also up to play bass as well! I picked it up last year, and I know basic musical theory.

My only request is that the music is awesome

I would like to Jam with some people. I am into a lot similar musicto Drummerboy. I play guitar, have been self taught for 8 years.

When people say jam, do they mean improvise or play other people's stuff? 'Cause improv actually makes me want to shit myself.

I hope you mean that in a good way hahaha by jamming I mean everything, making something up on the spot, if the band has some songs, or jamming to covers. It's all good

Anyone up for multiple percussionists in one band? (a la The Allman Brothers Band) I think that fills the awesome requirement.

I also play drums in addition to guitar (nylon and electric) and bass (although I do not have a bass at the moment....hmph). I'd have to say my influences are The Who for rock, Motown-style soul for R&B, Red Hot Chili Peppers for modern stuff (Chad Smith ftw!), Stevie Ray Vaughan for blues-rock, and The Band for everything else.
