I could be wrong, but it sounds like she just wants the attention without having to comitt to anything serious. Saying "we'll work on it for a few years" is odd if you've only known each other for a month. I think she just likes the fact that you will chase after her. My suggestion would be to move on, there are better girls in the world who don't like to play those kinds of games.
(Like I said, I could be wrong. It's hard to know anything from just a paragraph, but that's how it seems to me)

She sounds like tease; dump her ass?
Either that or man up, cause from your post you don't sound like you're doing a good job at that.
'i will drop a bomb on her' = LMAO

Better phrasing could have been: "I'll drop a load on her", with an appropriate segue.

that's not entirely true, I ALWAYS notice when a guy does this, because my Grandpa would NEVER let me walk on the sidewalk closest to the cars... he always told me that a real man/gentleman would never either...

It's also healthier to walk further away from the road according to a study that Daily Planet covered.

So, last week I told her I am not gonna pursue anything anymore and there will be only friendship. I offered her friendship sincerely. She said okay. But yesterday she said that we shouldn't stay in touch anymore. Why?

I don't think any of us can answer that without knowing the girl. Anything anyone comes up with would be either a poor generalization or completely useless.
It sucks dude, but just move on. You're better off in the long run.
DON'T CHANGE YOURSELF FOR ANYONE.

Does anyone cue in the fact that OP is an Alumni asking absurd questions like "holding hands"? I'm sorry, but I can't take a lot of this seriously - either that, or OP has a serious case of too much drama. So excuse my bluntness, but I personally don't believe an honest young adult would ever ask some of these things.
And in the slight chance that OP is serious; man up and move on.

The OP may very well not be an alumni. Many users don't change their status from "prospective" two and three years later.
