Lost Book
I lost a library book somewhere around campus.
It's called "Tensor Analysis on Manifolds" by Bishop & Goldberg.
I have suspicions that I may have left it on the porch area of 1280 on Thursday.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?
Does 1280 have a lost and found?

Thanks.

You can check with 1280, but I assume that they would send any lost items to security.

If the book is yours, then fill out a lost report at security and then you should be contacted once the book has been processed.

If it was a library book, people generally return them to one of the libraries and it will end up back on the shelves within a day or two.

I like your choice of reading material. (; (Thinking on the bright side, at least it's a rather inexpensive book, I saw it at Indigo for like 13 bucks so I snatched up a copy)

I hope things work out for you!

Haha thanks

It was a library book, so I hope somebody returns it. Worst comes to worst I'll hopefully just have to buy the book for ~13 bucks.

By the way, if you're into Manifolds I highly recommend these books:

Flanders - http://www.amazon.ca/Differential-Fo...ef=pd_sim_b_22 (About 15 bucks)

Do Carmo - http://www.amazon.com/Differential-F.../dp/3540576185 (About 45 bucks)

And Spivak's got some nice clear explanations:

Spivak - http://www.amazon.com/Comprehensive-...27571& sr=1-1 (About 50 bucks...I've only looked at volume 1)

Thanks for the suggestions. This was for 4B03, we're using Flanders.
