Lost Student Cards on buses
I'm sure many people didn't know this but when you lose your student card on the bus the hsr does not give it back to mac. They actually keep in the Hunter Street Go Customer Service Center for 4 weeks!. All the lost items lost or found come down from the mountain the day after around 11 am. You can also give them a call at 905-528-4200 and ask for the lost and found department. So the next time you think you might have dropped your student card on the bus all hope is not lost!

Also be sure to contact Office of the Registrar or the MAC Express Centre to have the card invalidated so if a particularly unscrupulous McMaster student finds your card and decides to try to make large purchases on your card, you're protected!
tldr: cancel card, then check GO station / HSR lost and found.

When getting a new ID card get it through the office of the registrar so you can get your bus sticker, but then be sure to go to MAC express to hook it up to your meal plan. The office of the registrar does not connect your meal plan to your card. Also, did anyone else know you don't pay taxes on your food when you pay with your student card?

On campus, yes.
But then again, you're paying like double the price for garbage. Still think it's a good deal?
