Just as an update to this, with the latest version of BlackBerry 10 (10.0.10), this issue is fixed and you can add your McMaster email by going to Settings > Accounts > Add > Advanced > IMAP, and following the instructions here: http://mcmaster.ca/uts/gmailforstudents/imapsetup.html
Tested sending/receiving and it works OK!

You say "we", do you work there as well?
You update OTA from settings.app

Yeah I work there. Who else does?
I was trying to find how the update process is for a normal user actually. Right now, I hate that when I remove all the Rogers apps, a "new update" pops up to install them back.

Yup, I can confirm this. Software updates rule!
Update: Messages sent from my Blackberry Z10 using my McMaster email don't seem to be put into my "sent" folder. The messages DO send, but there's no record of it on my phone, nor when accessing the account on a computer. Anyone have the same issue?

Are you stille experiencing this? I'm also having the same exact issue. Thought I was going crazy and sent some emails twice because there is no record of them.

Yup this still happens whenever I send an email from my Blackberry Z10. Like I said, they do send, but there's no record of it which is annoying.
If I send a message from the computer, however, it will show up on the Blackberry as sent.
