Ooh really?! Glad to hear that the renovations made a difference after all the discussion going on about Quarters and the $400,000 of renovations XD

Hey guys. I'm going to talk to the Food&Beverage Manager and see if we may be able to do our MI Social at 1280 instead, and hit things off for the school year with a bang... while maybe reviewing what we think of 1280 as a new student hotspot.... just a thought.

While you're discussing that with him/her you might want to drop the words "group discount" in there a few times

Sure I like the sound of that. We get our fun, 1280 gets a little bit of publicity at a crucial time. (:
Before seeing your post Chad, I was going to suggest we do BP on the 19th, then (there seems to be demand for the following week as well) on the 26th we could do 1280.
But naturally, depending on the logistics with the F&B Manager (which is definitely the independent variable here) we could switch them? Or even do 1280 twice?
Make sure you get us a discount. xD
Edit: lol...great minds BJ. Great minds.

Ooh, using 1280 for one (or two) of the meetings is a great idea

Hey, 1280 sounds good. I mean, it is probably cheaper than Boston Pizza. Then we could write a review about it, and an article about the MacInsiders get together. ;] Hmmm... I'm in favour of 1280 then, it's... well, it might be good.

Eek! I've been found out! Both on my stalking and mooching habits.
But the way I see it, by not driving myself I'm saving the environment, so its all good.

I'm pretty sure it's impossible to lose track of where Campus is from where Boston pizza is. You can see the campus from it :p (although I'm not sure how much of it).

To be honest, it doesn't really matter, it'll be the first experience for first years at both 1280 and BP, so it's up to you guys (upper years) and what you prefer, no ?

but I'm more likely to come if it's at 1280, my general apathy and laziness might get in the way if we have it at BP >_<

I'm totally down for 1280. On the side, does anyone know when we can start booking 1280?

Good point :S. I haven't seen an opening date yet. So, we'd have to book as soon as possible to have the place for the meeting/2nd or 3rd weekend.
