Major Computer Science, Minor ???
Hello,

So, a while ago I learned that I am able to complete a minor in something while doing a major in computer science. I have been looking around at the suggested electives for a computer science degree and I noticed that taking multimedia courses geared towards graphics design and web page design was included in this list. Now this interests me quite a bit and it seems like a pretty good minor to complement a Computer Science Degree. Could I hear some of the opinions of others on the idea?

Thanks,
Andrew

That sounds like a pretty good idea in my opinion. There aren't a lot of people out there that are able to make websites and design graphics while also knowing how to code complex things.

If it interests you, go for it. There is no point in going down a career path in which you aren't really interested :p.

You can also msg Chad, the president of MacInsiders, he's a multimedia major, he'd be able to tell you more about courses and the like.
