seriously i dont get how they can be allowed to do that, and personally i don't think the guy on the top seat is taking responsibility for the actions which the police took.. i love how the 'chief' keeps putting aside all the evidence shown to him and keeps saying 'more investigation needs to be done' and 'the context behind the video is not there' as such 'maybe they were right to assault the peace full protesters' - k maybe that last part is taken out of context but still : mad:
what do u think?

Firstly, I don't agree with the police brutality. However, I think pushing these cases to the side and losing them in political red tape is the right thing to do. The police of the GTA have much, much more serious crimes to be looking into.
Also, I'm not sure the G20 protests can be called entirely peaceful. Amongst the peaceful people were many violent groups who ransacked, pillaged, and generally messed stuff up. Example:
Also to embed youtube videos, you use the youtube button and put the part of the link after v= in the url in. For example, my link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32OW6cu4Ypk but I only put 32OW6cu4Ypk between the [yt] tags to make it pop up.

yea i know there were plenty of unpeaceful ones, but like why would you go and start trampling over and arresting people who are trying to be peaceful, and also not giving people chance to move out of the way, like in the vid you can clearly see police officers telling people to go away, and when the people try they get boxed in, have no where to turn, and get arresting for not listening to the police ??? seirously??

Nothing compared to Egypt. Also Libya is opening fire on its protesters if I'm not mistaken. Stupid hippies at the G20 don't know how good we have it here.

The difference is that we are a democratic nation with supposed freedom of speech, while Egypt and Libya were/are under the rule of an autocratic dictator. It is to be expected that police would be violent in Egypt and Libya, but it should not happen without just cause in Canada .
