marks to maintain in engineering 1
Does anyone know what grade we need to maintain in each course.?? also what overall grade do we need for the whole year?

Need minimum of 4.0 to stay in Engineering. Just keep on doing your best. Don't worry yourself with what grades are required for each course. Just give it your all and you'll be ok.

hm...seems odd. so if you get a 2 or 3 in a course...but maintain an overall gpa of 4.0 ...then...you still pass?

Yes, as long as you have no fail. Even you do fail a course, you can take it during the summer(this won't counts towards your admission in 2nd year tho).

I am not tottally sure on this one but I have heard that if u fail more than 2 courses, you will have to do few first year courses again but I am not very sure at all on this one.

However, i feel that if u fail more than 2 courses than ur gpa of 4 or high is very unlikely.

I don't think so... I'm pretty sure you just have to get reinstated if you're under 4. If you do get reinstated... well there's threads on what you have to do.

Don't worry about all this too much right now, just do your best in every class and everything should work out <3 (haha... at least that's how I did it - I had to retake math 2, but here I am!)
