There's several schools with related programs. What schools are you considering?

After checking the website, it doesn't seem that McMaster offers a Master's in Architecture, however, the following Canadian universities do:Toronto, Ryerson and Waterloo would be closest to Hamilton.

Do you mean program or school? As you said, a Master's in Architecture would be most appropriate obviously. However in terms of school, are you looking for prestige, somewhere near Hamilton, class size, admission requirements, etc. There's a lot of factors you need to consider. I'm sure it'll be competitive, but just as any job, I'm sure you can find work with a little networking and looking/contacting potential employers while being a grad student in Canada.

You mean courses and admission info?
Well, here are the pages I found:
Ryerson (if you look to the left it has everything about the program- courses, timelines, admissions, fees, etc. ) http://www.ryerson.ca/graduate/architecture/
At Waterloo there's different disciplines: General architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban design, etc. So depending on which one you want, you should contact them for more info (contact info is at the bottom). http://www.daniels.utoronto. ca/pro...hitecture/2203
For more details: http://gradcalendar.uwaterlo o.ca/page/ARCH-Programs and the grad courses list can be found here: http://www.ucalendar.uwaterl oo.ca/...urse-ARCH.html
