Math 1A03 webAssign sold with used books at Titles?
Is the webAssign access code sold with used math 1A03 textbooks at Titles?

Does any one know what the "pin codes" are for in Math 1AA3?

Regarding buying textbooks, it is better to buy them now, or wait until the profs announce the required items, and perhaps ask them if I could buy older editions?

Thank you! : )

I don't believe they are sold with the used textbooks, but you can buy the code separately. You could wait until the prof announces the required items, but it's a pretty safe bet that you should buy the Math 1A3/1AA3 textbooks, as it's an amazing textbook.

In regards to older editions, it should be okay to use them however you'll have to dig around in the textbook for the right questions. For example, your prof might say do questions 3-14 on pg.35/section 1.5, and when you turn to page 35, it might not even have questions on it; but you should be able to find the questions by just looking at the section. Also, the questions might not be in the same order as they are in the newer edition, so it's good to check with someone else who has the newer book.

Does anyone know how much the webassign is sold for individually, if it can be bought individually?

I vaguely remember buying it and I think it was around $40.00.

For one term it is $40, but if you buy it for both terms, you get it for $60.

I'm pretty sure the webAssign codes were mandatory, since they allow you access to online assignments, which were worth 10% of your final

No one will know until the first day of classes. McMaster is currently undergoing changes in their courses. Something happened (probably complaining students) which made it so that courses shouldn't have material which has to be bought in order to get mandatory marks. So courses like Econ abandoned APLIA. I wouldn't be surprised if Math also did the same with WebAssign. There's nothing from stopping the professor to make these materials optional for bonus marks though.
