I haven't taken them personally, but I know some eng phys people who have. 3C/3D are basically math for physics/eng phys. You learn a whole bunch of methods.
As such, there's no point taking it if you're in math. All you'd get out of it would be methods and little to no proofs (i.e. "understanding"). The same material is covered in 3F/3FF, with bits and pieces from 2R and 3X -- so if you're in math you will most likely just be reviewing methods by taking those courses, although maybe with a few interesting physics applications.
Could be some easy 12s though, if you're desperate.
