The tutorials for math 1ls3 are not cumpulsory. They are there for students to ask specific questions they are having trouble with. The professor will often go through the course package problems with specific attention to perhaps more difficult concepts. They are not manditory to attend, but they are useful,

Oh sweet okay thanks, so is it a class where the prof teaches you something, or more like you go there to practice problems and ask questions?

You only have to go to those tutorials if you are in desperate need of help

if your ever unsure, just show up to the first one and if you feel no need for it, then just leave after a bit

Nope, if you learn well by listening to other people asking questions or are unsure of topics they certainly are useful, but otherwise it's not essential that you attend them. You can usually drop into ones that aren't assigned to you as well if you can't make your scheduled tutorial.

Not compulsory. Good to attend to attain a great mark (if self-study habits are poor).
