Reading more books is always good in general but it won't necessarily prepare you for the verbal section any better at all really.
I'd just recommend getting a bunch of Verbal passages (buying or however else to get a hold of them), and just doing a ton of passages to practice and prepare. The verbal section is more methodical and experience-based than the other sections that require more hard-knowledge in my opinion, so just exposing yourself to as much verbal passage practice as you can before the MCAT is probably best (again all just my own opinion from prior experience on the MCAT)
