thanks for all of the helpful info =)
my parents have been bugging me about buying under the bed containers, or bed raisers or what not.
Do McKay rooms have beds with drawers underneath or no?
thanks in advanced!

All the beds in McKay have drawers underneath them, so you definitely don't need to buy those!
Also I'm another last year second floor dweller - room 238. I'm super excited for all of you to be living in one of the better residences! I loved it there and I'm sure you all will too. :D

McKay is the best rez on campus. Storied history, great location, perfect size, and alumni who love McKay. Plus, I used to live there and that usually drives real-estate value up.

The floor layout of McKay is unique. There are essentially little "pods" of four rooms, each of which has 2 bathrooms. You pretty much are at 4 people to a bathroom which is probably the lowest amongst traditional style residences.
The bathrooms are private and each has a shower and a tub.
In my first year I lucked out and managed to get into a little "pod" where two of the rooms had singles because one was a CA and one had a dude move out. We had 3 to a bathroom, and it was essentially 3 girls who used one, and 3 guys who used the other thus making sure I wasn't showering in a place with gross girl hair trapped in the drain.

Aren't they double rooms though? (i.e. 4 people/washroom)

Two double rooms = 4 People
4 people / 2 washrooms = 2 People/washroom

But isn't 5th floor just like any other floor in McKay, except it only has one wing? Because I'm pretty sure it's 2 rooms per washroom (i.e. 4 people/washroom...hope I got my math right this time, lol).
