McKay Hall is SO awesome!!! Aside from Edwards, it's pretty much the closest building to campus. It's attached to Commons which is the food lounge that you will most likely go to if you live in North Quad. The student centre is 3 minutes away and you can get to BSB, MDCL, TSH & CNH (buildings where you will most likely have classes if you're in science) in 5 minutes max.
You'll looovee it!

I completely agree I lived in McKay just last year and it's a pretty awesome res compared to others since the rooms are actually pretty big. As well, the washrooms aren't communal so you have your own private washroom It's really convenient that commons can be accessed through the underground tunnel or even just by the side doors. McKay is awesome

2nd Floor.
I haven't really seen this building when I went on the campus tour. From the picture on the Mac site, it looks like the building has balconies. Does it?

First floor was fabulous. I lived on first floor last year, some of the rooms are smaller. Depends which one you got. I was in 115, which happened to be one of the smallest on that side of the floor. However, the door leading to commons was right beside my room, so no worries. It has it's advantages!
FIRST FLOOR LOVE <333 You'll love it. screw big rooms. trust me.

It's roughly 9-10 bathrooms per floor. If I remember correctly, approx. 4 people share a bathroom. As big of an issue bathrooms seem right now, trust me that it won't make a difference. People have such different schedules so you'll always find a free washroom.
