McMaster Engineering Competition

McMaster Engineering students will soon be putting their skills to the test at the annual MEC competition that is held early next year. The competition allows students to "showcase their Engineering knowledge and talent to their peers, professors, alumni, and industry reps".
Students that place in top positions at the competition may also be invited to become representatives for Mac Eng at the Ontario Engineering Competition.
There are six competitions that students can signup for: Jr. Design (first and second years only), Sr. Design (third year and up), Engineering Communications, Consulting Engineering, Innovative Design, and Parliamentary Debate. Each require specific skills and knowledge from a variety of Engineering backgrounds.
If you are a McMaster Engineer and think you have what it takes, go for it! Put a team together and register on the MEC site which can be found at

deadline is January 15th however spots are limited due to time constraints, so please register as soon as possible.
