Don't you have to get your own pic taken and send it to them?
That's what I remember doing

Yes, but they set up cameras on welcome day to take pictures for your MacID. So you could have done either.

Is it still possible then to get the confirmation package and student card if the PA still has to be confirmed? Or does it have to wait until september now?

Thanks

According to the payment agreement deadlines document (http://www.mcmaster.ca/bms/student/pdf/SAC_dates_deadlines.p df), you had to confirm your PA atleast once before July 30 to get your confirmation package. So I think you have to go to registrar office to pick it up. you can call them or email them to make sure.

do we need student id cards for the first couple of days?. I got an email saying that since I'm out of province/out of country, I have to pick up my id card.. but since move-in's on Sat for me, and they're closed Monday, I wouldn't be able to pick it up until Tuesday... should I go in a few days earlier to get it?

Just like tuition and anything else on your student account, balances can be paid through online banking using your student # as the account number.

Hope this helps.
Does the card have a limit to how much you can put on it?

Probably not. You will most likely have to pick it up when you get there.

Call Housing and ask them. There are plenty of students who aren't from Ontario that move into res every year, so they must have a system set up for them now that you guys are picking up your cards on Tuesday.

I think I may have a problem. I confirmed the payment a while ago when Solar was open July 3rd, I then opened mugsi again today to see changes in schols and such and had to reconfirm it. What does this mean, when will i get it? Don't tell me theres a big line up? and Can I ask them to mail it to me/?
