McMaster Students on Qubit, Discovery Channel Game Show
Two McMaster Science students, Brennan Jerred and Greg Leverton are competing on the Discovery Channel's new game show Quibt. Contestants are asked many questions about Science and Technology for a chance to win $10,000.
Greg is in his fourth year of the Physics program as well as the McMaster Quizbowl club president. Brennan is a fourth year Chemistry student and an epic Scico.
When speaking to Mr. Jerred about his experience he told us how he "did have a few slumdog millionaire moments. I had these random questions where it was a fluke experience I had in my life that made me know the answer." When asked what he did to help him throughout the game, Mr. Jerred told us he brought his "good luck chemistry shoes that have ethane molecules all over them." They unfortunately wouldn't allow him to bring his Mac Science black lab coat. Boourns.
