McMaster Welcome Week Concerts Confirmed: Chainsmokers, Walk Off The Earth, July Talk

Welcome Week Concerts to ft. The Chainsmokers, Walk Off The Earth & July Talk

Chainsmokers to Play Faculty Hollow September 2

Be ready to party in the Hollow on Wednesday, September 2 for the MacPass Welcome Week concert featuring international electronic duo The Chainsmokers.

The Chainsmokers have become the hottest young American EDM DJ duo. Their signature sound has its foundations in indie, progressive and pop music. Their latest tracks, Roses and Waterbed, have topped the charts all summer!

Even better, this year we’re taking it one step further and bringing in Technocolour Dreams to create one of the wildest live and interactive party experiences yet.

Admission is FREE for students with a MacPass wristband. Tickets are $10 for Welcome Week reps and $20 for non Mac Pass/upper year students (available at COMPASS starting August 28).

July Talk & Walk Off The Earth to Play Faculty Hollow September 4

This is FREE concert for only McMaster Undergraduate students. All students must present a free printed ticket AS WELL AS a valid McMaster undergraduate student card at the gates.

HERE IS THE FREE TICKET TO PRINT

Can graduate students get into the September 4th show? The poster does say "free to all McMaster students"...

I think you need a valid student id. "No guests" usually means only current students allowed.

That's unfortunate and misleading on their part. Oh well ...

How is it misleading?

Also, a grad student would have a valid student card and be a current student, wouldn't they?

If you really think it might be a problem you can email the welcome week committee.
