Medical Notes
So, Dr. Landry told me that we only get one MSAF per term, and is demanding a medical note to prove that I was sick for my lab.
...how do I go about getting a medical note for the past proving I was sick if I'm not sick anymore?
I fail to see how this makes sense, unless I'm missing something really obvious.

Maybe get your parents to call him? Or go to your family doctor and ask him to write you a note, should be fine

I would get a note from your family doctor. I don't think anything else would be accepted :/

The parents idea is just ridiculous.
Also, if you've submitted an MSAF for your lab then you don't need to submit a doctor's note along with it... I'm pretty sure it tells you that once you submit an MSAF. Maybe Landry is not aware of this?
I would bring it to his attention just in case.

He's dealt with hundreds of MSAF forms from Chem 1A03+1AA3 labs, so he is definitely aware of it...I think the poster meant they've already used their one MSAF, so anything beyond that requires a doctor's note.
And, getting your parents to call is ridiculous...

They probably talked to Alastair. Landry is on a whole new level.
Does this mean they've reduced MSAFs to one per term for the academic year too? :/ Or is it just for the summer?

Good luck at trying to get a doctor to write you a note saying that you were sick when they didn't see you sick. You'd need to find a really sketchy one.
The best they can do is "X" says they were sick during these dates. - Source ER doc who often deals with students who try to get sick notes the night before exams.

It's still 2 per term during the regular academic year. It's probably just set to 1 per term during the Spring/Summer terms just because 1 term is like 6 weeks instead of the regular 13 weeks during the Fall/Winter.

The only thing you can do is go to your family doctor and explain the situation. He might understand and give you a note. If not, you'll have to take the zero for the lab.

Yup, if your family doctor has a good history with you, they should be able to vouch for your statement that you were ill
